Hotel Continen

This is a 3D-rendition of Francis.co’s colorful, vivid and whimsical artwork that I wanted to replicate in 3D. It utilizes shaders, the realtime compositor as well as Greasepencil in Blender to get its stylized effect. I was doing quite a lot of research back and forth to find the technique that I felt worked for this piece, but in the end I feel quite happy with the result, the main challenge here being to follow someone else’s art that preferably had a style that would be a bit of a challenge to do in 3D.
